At Gone to the Dogs Boutique we believe your pet should be treated to a stress free grooming experience.  That is the reason we schedule grooming sessions by appointment only.  Your pet’s grooming session will last about an hour.   Your pet will enjoy having private one on one time with our pet stylist, Lara Gordon.

Lara has been grooming for over 10 years.   She comes by it naturally as both of her grandparents were also dog groomers.  Lara has obtained her Master Groomer Certification in Sporting Breeds and will complete her National Master Groomer Certification in 2010.  She earned her Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University in 2003.  Prior to moving to St Pete Beach she worked as a groomer and veterinary assistant in Indiana.

Shampoos and conditioners are chosen based on your pet’s skin/coat condition.  All of our salon products are soap free and all natural.  All pets are hand dried and fluffed.  We do not use cage dryers as they can overheat and cause harm to your pet.

Lara will spend a few minutes with you at the beginning of your pet’s grooming session to determine what your expectations are for your pet’s haircut.  She keeps detailed notes about your pet’s grooming experience.  That way she can create the same look for your pet over and over, unless you request a different style for your pet.

Salon services include short hair dog baths, long hair dog baths, full grooming for both dogs and cats.  All services include nail trim, ear cleaning, ear plucking and expressing the anal glands, if needed.
